Nothing too big, nothing too small. The Chester Grey Painted Oak 2 Door Medium Sideboard may be middle of the road when it comes to Sideboard sizes, but in the grand scheme of things it’s anything but average. Oozing country charm from every fibre, this generously proportioned Sideboard features drawer and cupboard-based storage, with two drawers sitting atop one large cupboard, separated by a shelf running across the full length of the unit. The two sizable drawers above are dovetailed and perfectly complete this attractive sideboard unit. It would be remiss of us not to mention the splendid contrast between the oak top, stone grey painted frame and rounded chrome handle. If this Sideboard doesn’t quite fit your requirements there are smaller and larger versions within this collection. Please note, the manufacturer refers to the colour of this range as Truffle. As such, the word 'Truffle' is displayed on the packaging. The images on-site were taken in our photography studio and are an extremely accurate reflection of colour.

Free Standard 2-Man Delivery

This item will be delivered on our 2-Man service, as it’s too large to be sent on a Next Day service. Your order will be delivered by our expert delivery team, who are experienced in dealing with heavy/bulky items. As standard, they will deliver to the hallway / main entrance of your property free of charge.

Within a couple of days of the order being placed, you will receive an email from us which includes some estimated delivery information and details of what to expect during the delivery. You will subsequently be contacted by our delivery team directly at least 48 hours before delivery, usually via text message, advising the exact date and a 3-hour time slot. We may be referred to as ‘Online Furniture’ or ‘Online Furniture UK Ltd’ within these text messages.

You will need to engage with this text message and follow the prompts to either accept or reject the delivery. Upon acceptance you will receive a text message response to confirm the booking. In the event that the date is rejected, the delivery will automatically be rescheduled for the week after the date initially proposed.

The lead time for our 2-Man Service for the majority of the UK is 5-10 working days, which may extend to 12 days during busy periods, or for hard-to-reach locations.

Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that carpets are covered and any obstructions are removed prior to entry by our delivery men and women. Whilst the delivery crew will aim to be as careful as possible, we will not be held liable for any damage caused as a result of inappropriate or inadequate coverage of floors or removal of existing furniture / ornaments etc.

Room of Choice Delivery Upgrade - £12.99 (available on 2-Man orders only)

For a very small fee of £12.99, we will deliver every item on your order to the room of your choosing, regardless of whether this is 1 item or 100. This is particularly useful for heavy items, or if items are required to go up a flight of stairs. This is an optional extra that can be added to your order during the checkout process. Please note, items will not be unboxed by the delivery crew, they will be placed in the room of your choosing, to be unboxed at your leisure.

White Glove Delivery Upgrade - £50 (available on 2-Man orders only)

Take the stress away entirely by upgrading your order to a White Glove delivery. For a very reasonable fee of £50, we will deliver every item on your order to the room of your choosing, unbox it, assemble it (if applicable), and place it into position for you.

If you are entirely happy with the items you have received, we will also remove the packaging and dispose of it for you, leaving your home clean and tidy and your furniture ready to enjoy. As packaging is required for a return of undamaged items, you may wish to keep the packaging just in case.

The White Glove Delivery Service is an optional extra that can be added to your order during the checkout process. Perfect if DIY isn’t your forte, you don’t have the time, or just simply for the convenience of not having to worry about a thing.

If you are interested in making use of this service, it is really important that adequate space is provided on White Glove deliveries for the delivery crew to be able to safely assemble items.

Exclusions / Overseas Deliveries

As a rule we don't deliver to locations that require use of a boat or plane to reach them and we reserve the right to cancel any orders of this nature. However, we regularly have customers that use forwarding companies in order to transport furniture to their location, as we are happy to deliver to any mainland UK location such as a shipping port or forwarding hub. It would be your responsibility to source, co-ordinate and pay for safe onward shipping from the mainland UK destination, and you should also consider the possibility that an item may need to be returned for some reason and, the costs that might be incurred as a result of this, given we could only collect from a mainland UK destination.

If you are exploring this as an option and want to go ahead with the order, please provide as much detail as possible in the notes section of the checkout, to ensure that the item/s arrive with the forwarder safely.

Our Returns Policy

Our order defect rate is extremely low as we quality check before items are dispatched, but in the event that the worst happens please don’t panic, we’ll sort it. Our returns policy is broken down into two simple sections which you can see below.

What happens if my item is damaged? (30-Day return policy)

So you’ve waited patiently for a few days, stayed in for a couple of hours, finally get your hands on your new furniture and…. Oh no! This is extremely rare, but we appreciate how frustrating it is when it happens. Because of this we will collect the item for FREE and endeavour to either supply you with a product you’re entirely happy with in 5-10 working days (may extend to 12 in busy periods), or collect the item and refund you in full. Just give us a call within 30 days of delivery, send us a picture, explain the situation and we’ll advise the next steps. Easy as that.

In the event that you are returning an item because it is damaged and you are having a replacement sent to you, any delivery upgrades purchased on the initial order will be mirrored on the collection/replacement. If you purchased delivery upgrades and are returning your damaged item for a refund, the full order value, inclusive of delivery fees, will be refunded to you.

What happens if I change my mind and want to return my item? (14-Day return policy)

Should you decide you don’t really like the item after all, don’t need it anymore, wish you’d never ordered it, or just simply measured up wrong, that’s absolutely fine. We will give you your money back if you let us know within 14 days of delivery. You must return the item to us in the condition you received it and in its original packaging. You can either arrange this yourself or we will collect it for you free of charge in 5-10 working days (may extend to 12 in busy periods). Once we receive the item you will be refunded within 5 working days.

In the event that you are returning an item purely because it’s unwanted, and you paid for upgrades on your initial delivery such as the Room of Choice or White Glove services, only the price of the item/s will be refunded to you. Delivery upgrade fees are non-refundable in these instances.

Fees for Failed Collections

Each delivery / collection made to a property has a monetary value of approximately £40. Despite this, as per the above returns policy, we will collect items free of charge within 14 days for any reason, or within 30 days if the item is damaged.

We realise that sometimes plans change and things pop up that can’t be avoided. If you let us know by 3pm the day before collection that you will be unable to facilitate the agreed collection, we will simply reschedule this for a later date as we have not incurred any fees. If however we are notified after this time that the collection won’t be able to take place, or the collection fails on the day, a fee of £40 will be payable to us, for us to schedule another collection.
