Chiltern Oak Opens First Furniture Store

We’re excited to share the news that our very first physical home furniture shop is now open. Chiltern Oak’s home furniture store in Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire was opened to the public on March 26, 2022.

The location has been chosen carefully and has a furniture stores heritage. The building was formerly The Old Mill Interiors, one of the best-known furniture stores in Northamptonshire. After it served the public for over 30 years, here at Chiltern Oak we’re delighted to be continuing that fine tradition.

Located on the intersection between the A6 and A45, our store at Chowns Mill Business Park is less than a mile from Rushden Lakes shopping and leisure village, and therefore an easily accessible furniture shop in Northamptonshire.

Bringing you high-end furniture at reasonable prices has always been the main aim of Chiltern Oak. We’ve always managed to provide the best natural look and painted oak furniture via our online furniture stores, but now we want to branch out into bricks and mortar with a physical store. This allows our customers the opportunity to look and touch the furniture, seeing how it stands in a room, before buying.

Offering the same fine wood products that we have onsite, our furniture shop in Irthlingborough has a range of in-store exclusive items too, such as sofas with a vast array of size and fabric combinations, mattresses, other high-gloss furniture pieces and a dedicated luxury garden furniture section to browse too.

With classic and contemporary styles across all rooms, you’re bound to find a warm welcome as well as something you love when you drop by.
